Consumer health data privacy notice

Additional information about workout, movement, and fitness data.

Last updated August 31, 2026

Data covered

Depending on applicable law, consumer health data may include workout videos, exercise names, repetitions, load, movement measurements, body-position estimates, session notes, and the visualizations and exports produced from that information.

Sources

We receive this information directly from you when you upload a workout, enter workout details, or add a note. Latitude also derives movement and fitness information from the video and details you submit. We do not purchase consumer health data from data brokers.

Why we collect and use it

  • Analyze the workout you submit.
  • Provide saved sessions, measurements, visualizations, notes, and exports.
  • Secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.
  • Respond to support, access, correction, and deletion requests.

The production upload path does not automatically enroll videos or derived movement data in model training. A future research or model-development program requires a separate opt-in.

Sharing

We disclose consumer health data only as needed to operate Latitude, including to Amazon Web Services for private account, storage, API, and cloud services and to Latitude's restricted dedicated processing system for movement analysis and requested video exports. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell consumer health data or share it for advertising.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of covered information and may withdraw consent for future consent-based processing. Delete an individual workout in the app, delete your account from the account menu or public deletion page, or submit another request through Latitude Support. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account.

Appeals

If we deny a consumer health data request, you may appeal by replying to the decision or submitting a new support request marked “Privacy appeal.” We will review the appeal and explain the result.

Retention and security

Our Privacy Policy describes the verified retention periods, deletion workflow, international processing, and security controls that also apply to consumer health data.
